After years of singing and playing bass and guitar with his very popular band The Blarney Boys, Mason-Cox has returned to the immediacy of "Stand Up Solo".

David Mason-Cox is well known to Australian audiences. He has released three CDs since 1991, with his second album Tripping Upstairs playlisted on over eighty radio stations around the country and named Album Of The Week by several stations including Sydney's 2SM. He has also guested on a number of TV shows and was a regular on the popular It's Country Today.

On his latest EP Evangeline, Mason-Cox continues to explore his accessible mix of rootsy country rock and pop. The blend of sinuously clever songs once again demonstrates his originality, wit and integrity. Little wonder he delights programmers, critics and fans alike.
